Tyler was in a very good mood tonight. We took lots of smiling pictures. The other kids are very good with him. They sure have a lot of energy though.

Some picture repeats but larger and with captions!
Ty has been pretty irritable lately which always makes us worry. We know it has to be something with gas and digestion so there may not be anything we can do. We will probably take him in to make sure tomorrow.

Incision infection
We had a slight scare with Tyler. His incision on his back has become more inflamed and we decided it was enough to take him to the ER. The doctors decided to just wait because it is most likely a surface infection. When I had my knee surgery, I had an infection surface one month later which required one week hospitalization and antibiotics. We hope this is not the case with Tyler.
All else is going well. Almary and mommy went to the movies on Saturday while the boys (well without Tyler; he was sleeping) watched Star Wars.

Happy Valentines Day February 14, 2008
Welcome to our blog.
Tyler is now 4 weeks old. He is over 9 lbs and 9 ounces and can't seem to get enough to eat. He has a clean bill of health until April when we will do another echo cardiogram and check his aortic valve. Until then we are glad to be off oxygen and steri-strip free. Now we are working on sleeping through the night. It will be a long battle.
Almary, Ryan and Bryce are slowly coming off sugar detox after a plethora of Valentine parties and candies. They had more candy than Halloween.
Mark is getting closer to graduation. He is seriously working on his Masters project and accompanying presentation, but he needs to be a little more serious.
Cheri is learning to corral 4 kids in the car for all of her taxi-ing trips to and from school.
We are enjoying the kindness of friends and family who are taking care of us and watching out for us. We are so grateful for their kindness and feel this time in our life has been such a blessing.
